About Us

On September 13, 2003, Sword of the Spirit Church and Ministries first service was birthed at the clubhouse of San Simeon Apartment Homes located on Walnut Hill Lane, Irving, Texas. Pastor Anthony Nolan of Paradise Missionary Baptist Church presided. Nineteen people were in attendance to witness the anointing that began to work through Pastor Howell and the church.

As a result of the loving, caring, and giving hearts of the congregation, we continue to support individuals in need, ministries, and Christian television stations. Those we have supported include, TBN (Trinity Broadcasting Network), Daystar, R.W. Schambach, Morris Cerullo, Mike Murdock, Jack Hayford, David Demola, Benny Hinn, Bishop Willie J. Hilton, widows, ministers, and ministries in Togo, Belgium, Switzerland, France, and Germany.

The Lord has been faithful; performed miracles and blessings that are far too numerous to list. We continuously witness to souls accepting Christ, being born again and filled with the Holy Ghost. Additionally, healings, deliverances, and testimonies of new jobs, houses, cars, debt cancellations, and promotions are no stranger to us. The Spirit of the Lord is moving and the favor of God that rests on Apostle Howell covers this house.

 

We praise God for what He has done and is doing through Sword of the Spirit Church and Ministries and look forward to all that Jesus  Christ has in store for us!
